Indira Gandhi Memorial College of Nursing, Odakkali, Asamannoor P.O., Perumbavoor is an educational Institution run under the aegis of Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust, Nellikkuzhi, Kothamangalam. The Institution is situated 10 kms near to Kothamangalam town. The Institution offers B.Sc Nursing course affiliated by Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC), Trivandrum, Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur and also approved by Govt. Kerala [G.O (MS) No. 230/2023/ H&FWD Dated 24.08.2023]. Indira Gandhi Memorial College of nursing came in to existence in 2023 with B.Sc Nursing degree program to pace with the rapid advancement in health and nursing sciences with an annual intake of 60 students. Indira Gandhi Memorial College of Nursing provides high quality education based on sound educational principles enforced by scientific and technological advance. The nursing programme integrate holistic values of health care, directed towards identifying the health needs of the people, planning and providing quality care in collaboration with other health professionals and community groups.

Chairman's Message
In line with the government’s new education policy, the Trust initiated an Arts & Science college and subsequently, through collective efforts, established a Dental College, Engineering College, Paramedical Science College, and two Polytechnics over the years.
It is important to recognize that a remarkable institution is not solely defined by its grand infrastructure, but rather by the dedication of its teachers, adherence to academic discipline, quality education, and the enthusiastic involvement of parents and students. These elements contribute to the institution’s accolades and success.
